Getting started in 2 minutes

Add a job: paste a posting link and Followup fills in the title, company, and salary, or enter details manually.
Set your name in Profile. It signs off your follow-up drafts automatically.
Open Today once a job goes quiet and hit ✍️ Draft: review the email, then copy it, open it in your mail app, or mark it sent.
Enable browser reminders in Profile → Backup & data so overdue follow-ups surface when you open the app.
On desktop, drag the capture bookmarklet (Profile → Capture jobs from any site) to your bookmarks bar to save postings in one click from LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, and more.

The views

Today: your daily action inbox: follow-ups due (highest-interest first), interviews today, overdue reminders, and a recent-activity feed.
List: every application as a card, searchable and filterable, with inline status changes and bulk actions.
Pipeline: a drag-and-drop board grouped by status, plus a conversion funnel and salary-range chart.
Table: a sortable spreadsheet view for scanning or comparing lots of applications at once.
Calendar: interviews, follow-ups, and reminders on a month/week/day/agenda calendar.
Offers: a focused view of roles at the offer stage so you can compare them side by side.
Contacts: a lightweight CRM for recruiters and contacts.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Everything in Followup is free to use right now, no account limits or paywalls.

Is my data private?

Your job data is yours, stored securely with Supabase and never sold or used for ads. We use PostHog analytics to see which features get used, not the content of your entries. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

How does the follow-up timer work?

By default Followup flags a job 7 days after applying, 3 days after a phone screen or interview, and marks anything quiet for 14+ days as going cold. All three (plus your weekly follow-up goal) are adjustable in Profile → Follow-up automation once you're signed in.

Will it notify me if I close the app?

Not yet, honestly. Browser reminders only fire when you open Followup in that browser; there's no push notification while it's closed. That's on the roadmap.

Can I get my data out, or delete my account?

Yes to both, any time, no email needed. Export a full JSON backup or CSV from Profile → Backup & data, and permanently delete your account and all its data from Profile → Danger zone.

Is there a phone app?

Not a native app yet. Followup is a responsive web app, and on mobile you can "Add to Home Screen" for an app-like icon and full-screen view. A real App Store app is on the roadmap.

What's coming next?

AI-drafted follow-up emails and AI resume tailoring are both in development. Nothing's paywalled today. If that changes, we'll say so clearly before it does.
